UX/UI Design
2026
Overview
MyApps is Sodexo’s unified digital platform designed to centralize operational tools, KPIs, and services into a single, intuitive experience for site and unit managers.
The project started as a discovery-driven initiative to validate a core hypothesis:
If managers could access all their tools through a single login and centralized portal, their daily work would become more efficient, intuitive, and less fragmented.
I led the UX/UI design from discovery to MVP validation and later iterations, aligning business goals, operational complexity, and real user pain points into a scalable product foundation.
In addition to the product experience, I was also responsible for creating the MyApps logo and visual identity, ensuring the brand reflected clarity, unification, and confidence from the very first interaction.
Context & Challenge
Site managers at Sodexo operate in highly complex environments.
Before MyApps, their daily workflow relied on multiple disconnected platforms, manual spreadsheets, repetitive data entry, different logins for similar tasks, and slow, bureaucratic processes.
As a result, managers spent a significant part of their time managing systems instead of managing operations.
Discovery & Research
Objective
Validate existing hypotheses
Understand real operational pain points
Identify opportunities for unification, automation, and personalization
Ensure decisions were grounded in real user needs, not assumptions
Methodology
Qualitative field research
On-site interviews with managers and operators
Structured interview scripts for consistency
Cross-validation of insights across contexts
Scope
5 pilot sites with different operational realities
14+ users interviewed
Different site sizes, meal volumes, and digital maturity levels
Key Insights
Across all interviews, consistent patterns emerged:
Too many platforms and no single source of truth
Manual work as the biggest time drain
Tools not designed for real daily routines
High need for flexibility between sites and contracts
These insights shaped MyApps as a centralized operational hub rather than another isolated system.
Product Vision
One platform. One login. One consistent experience.
Core Principles
• Centralization instead of fragmentation
• Speed and clarity over complexity
• Personalization by role and context
• Scalability for future services
• Data-driven decision support
MVP 0 — First Validation
To validate the main hypothesis, we launched MVP 0, focusing on access and visibility rather than full functionality.
MVP Goal
Test whether centralized access combined with single sign-on could improve engagement and usability.

MVP Wiframe
Key Features
• Single sign-on via Entra ID
• List of assigned sites per manager
• Application directory with search
• Direct access to existing tools
• Display of key operational KPIs
• Integration with internal Sodexo portals

MVP
MVP Results
The MVP successfully validated the core assumptions.
High repeat access per user
Consistent daily usage
Positive qualitative feedback
User feedback confirmed the value of centralized access and reinforced confidence to evolve the platform further.
From MVP to a Real Operational Platform
Based on learnings from MVP 0, MyApps evolved from a simple access layer into a true operational workspace supporting decision-making and performance visibility.
Current Solution
The current homepage acts as a daily command center where managers can:
View operational KPIs at a glance
Access favorite applications instantly
Navigate seamlessly across domains such as Food, HR, and Finance
Stay informed through internal communications

Design Decisions
Dashboard as a Daily Workspace
The homepage was designed as a decision-making entry point, surfacing what matters most at the start of each day.
Progressive Complexity
Users first see the most relevant information, with deeper actions available without increasing cognitive load.
UX Consistency Across Services
Despite multiple backend systems, MyApps maintains a unified and predictable user experience.
Brand & Visual Identity
The MyApps logo and visual identity were designed as part of the product experience, reinforcing the idea of unification, simplicity, and trust across the platform and its touchpoints.
